Collection of the Basilica of Santa Maria in Igualada (SMI). Printed works

The collection contains 188 records of printed works where, besides Hispanic, French and Italian composers there is a predominance of ecclesiastical repertoire by Catalan composers from the end of the nineteenth century (Josep Badia, Francesc Brunet, Càndid Candi, Gaietà Casadevall, Joaquim Cassadó, Pau Gené, Joan B. Guzmán, Claudi Martínez, Felip Pedrell, J. Quintana, C. and J. Ribera, P. Ronsó, J. Sorribes and A. Vaqué, among others). The religious repertoire sits alongside numerous pages of scenic music and pianistic literature by French composers (F. Godefroid, L. Lacombe, G. Lange, L. Lefébure-Wély, C. S. Lysberg) and Germans (H. Herz, W, Krücer, G. Meyerbeer), as well as Sonatas for piano by Nicolàs Ledesma (1866).
